Hi All
I want to move to OTA andfwwd my Media center with a HD home Run.

What set up should I get. I can go on the Roof or in the attic. I have a DTV Dish on the roof and would like to use that mount if possible.

Here is my report.

The 'Outdoor Type' Tv antenna must be level with the ground , not pointed at the sky , not pointed at the ground , the antenna must not be cocked at odd angles. http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html

My experience with the HD HomeRun has been quite positive. I would recommend an antenna such as the Winegard HD7694P, aimed at about 46° compass.

You should not need an amplifier. Many amplifiers would be overloaded in your situation.

The HD769X series antennas are combination UHF / High-VHF antennas. They are designed to receive real channels 7 through 69.
