2Edge path, local mountain. But I am only 32 miles from towers. I tried different angles , tilts, VHS on top of UHF, UHF only... little success. What else should I try here? Any possible way to get a decent signal ? there has got to be something I can do !
I am almost to the point of giving up and going back to Cable-but not without a fight. I really need an out of the box solution . any equipment suggestions, tweeks or special set-up?
With my current setup I would have to raise the antenna to about 500' feet to get a decent reception-is that even possible without a tower and guide wires? There has got to be a solution out there that’s worth exploring.
equipment:
CM7777 Channel Master
91XG
AntennaCraft Y-10-7-13
30' high
The Tower for the seven stations I need are all 32 miles away on Mount Wilson, Los Angeles 320 True Azimuth.
not sure what stations the 91XG is best suited for -but I think I need something else that is best matched for just these seven stations.
2.1 43 CBS UHF ( bad reception)
4.1 36 NBC UHF (worst reception)
5.1 31 KTLA UHF (worst reception)
13.1 13 KCOP VHF
11.1 11 KTTV VHF
9.1 9 KCAL VHF
7.1 7 ABC VHF
