Info for CM QUANTUM 1165A??

I have this antenna idle on the roof, I believe its a 1165A. Been up there for at least 15 years, had no luck getting the Phoenix stations with Squaw Peak in the way. Now with digital signals is it a good antenna to search OTA signals?
In the photo it shows a rotator, ant.still has the 300 ohm line attach. Don't know if the rotator still works.
In the house I will only feed one TV. Will need a switch to OTA and back to DISH. Not ready to dump DISH if the OTA fails.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Remove and discard the old antenna and rotor and All 300 ohm twin lead.

Many Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels will be received.

Install a , www.antennacraft.net , HBU33 antenna aimed at about 170 degree magnetic compass direction.

Use a Real and Actual magnetic compass to aim antenna.

To Prove Reception , connect a NEW Continues Length of RG6 coax with the Compression type connectors on the ends of the coax to the antennas matching transformer (balun) , and run the NEW Continues Length of coax through a open door or window direct to 1 Digital Tv.

The Digital Tv Must Channel Scan for the , OTA= Over The Air , Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels.
Often named the ~ DTV Channels ~ Antenna Channels ~ Air Channels ~ , in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some digital tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select ~ DTV Channels ~ Antenna Channels ~ Air Channels ~.

Scan for channels.

At this Prove Reception stage , install no antenna system amplifier.
