Based on the path profile of the signals from the NE, there's a significant hill or small mountain in the way of your view of those transmitter antennas. (Example: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d46aed178c9ce27%26t%3dALLTV%26n%3d8 )
I would be mounting an Antennas Direct 91XG on my roof if I was in your situation. I'd also use an RCA TVPRAMP1R preamp.

Above the roof in such a manner that the roof and building are not impeding and blocking reception to the , North East , East , install a Channel Master CM4228HD antenna aimed at about 57 degree magnetic compass direction.
Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.
Use a Old School magnetic compass to aim antenna.
