Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions anyone can provide.

I recently purchased a cabin with an existing antenna mounted approx. 30 ft. above the ground. I am not sure what kind of antenna it is. The only way to get any reception is to have a booster in line and then the only channel I can get consistently is CBS. I will sometimes get ABC and PBS. I would like to be able to get FOX and NBC if possible. There is some tree coverage inline in all directions. I will only have 1 TV hooked up with no splitters. Any suggestions for the best type of antenna and/or manufactures would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Travis

The Tv reception is Very Weak at your location.

To see how much signal strengths improve please make 3 more tvfool radar reports with antenna heights of , 60 , 80 , 100 , feet .

Antenna systems numbers 1 and 2 are not connected together on to one coax.

Antenna systems 1 and 2 are Separate antenna systems all the way to the location/s of the Tv/s.

At the location/s of the Tv/s will be a Remote control A/B coax antenna switch at each location.

A/B antenna switching is Channel Surfing Friendly , press the button on the hand held remote control , change antennas and Keep On Channel Surfing.

Using a rotor with one antenna is not channel surfing friendly , must wait for antenna to rotate and not every one in the house will agree with the direction the antenna is aimed.

For antenna system number 1.

For 1 Tv connected use no splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a , HFS-2D , 2way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a , HFS-3D , 3 way splitter.

For antenna system number 2 it's the same but separate set up.

But the HFS splitters at , http://www.hollandelectronics.com , or , http://www.solidsignal.com.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of reducing or blocking Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions.

It is best to install antennas at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception.

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for Digital Broadcast Tv Channels , sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.
