Please suggest an antenna, North Carolina

Hi all

About a year ago i bought a indoor antenna which gets spotty reception. I am looking for a reccomendation on what antenna to use as this is my primary device. I also have netflix. I am looking to get as many channels as possible. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

A Simple reception situation.

Above The Roof install a ANT751 antenna with , no preamplifier , aimed at about 230 degree magnetic compass direction.

http://www.solidsignal.com , has a ANT751 antenna with a J type antenna mount , low dollars.

For 1 Tv connected use no splitter.

For 2 tv's connected use a common simple 2 way splitter.


As always , trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of reducing or blocking Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions.

It is best to install a antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception.

At your location that is , north , west , south west , north east.

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the Broadcast Tv Channels , sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

What if I want to hook up more than 3 tvs?

First, verify that you have a reliable signal at the antenna. This is done by connecting only one TV, with no splitter. Once this is done, add the splitter (with the number of ports needed) and recheck the signal quality at each TV. If you have reliable reception, you're done. If the addition of a splitter causes some signals to become unreliable, add a Channel Master CM-3410 distribution amplifier ahead of the splitter.
