PBS in Atlanta?

We have had a big box tv with a radio shack ears/loop antenna for 3 years and received Chs 2,5,8,11,17,30,46,69 w/o much problem.

We bought a flat screen this weekend and got a new amplified flat, RCA antenna.

Although the new antenna now picks up a dozen or so additional channels, neither it nor the old one now pick up ch 8 (PBS/GPB and a must have in our house). (all the other originally listed channels are fine, maybe better with the new attenna).

A Simple reception situation.

Above the roof install a ANT751 antenna , with No preamplifier , aimed at about 290 degree magnetic compass direction.

http://www.solidsignal.com , has the ANT751 Antenna with a J Type Antenna Mount for low dollars.

For 1 Tv connection use splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a common simple 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a common simple 3 way splitter.

For 4 Tv's connected use a common simple 4 way splitter.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of reducing or blocking Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions.

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels , sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

I really would prefer an indoor antenna. I know an indoor antenna can receive the GPB signal because I had it for 3 years. But for some reason, its not working with my new tv?

(How much, typically, does it cost to install and wire a rooftop antenna to my tv?)
