Request antenna suggestions

I am currently just using Netflix and would like some OTA goodness. I was looking at the amplified MOHU leaf:
Leaf

Here is TV signal analysis done at 15 ft:
signal

I understand that the mohu does best with UHF. Looks like most of mine are that. Looks like most are at an azimuth of 256-266 range with one Channel 34 at 116. Not really worried about that one. Mainly the ones in green and the ones in yellow would be a bonus.

Thanks in advance.

ALL questions and answers about broadcast tv reception and More.

The following is a Teleview - Recommendation for Broadcast Tv Reception.

A Simple reception situation.

Above the roof install a Winegard HD7696P antenna with no preamplifier , aimed at about 240 degree magnetic compass direction.

For 1 Tv connected use no splitter.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Here are some above the roof antenna mounts , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html , http://www.ronard.com.

Buy the ronard antenna mounts at solidsignal by typing the word ronard in the solidsignal search box.

Here are places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.winegarddirect.com , http://www.amazon.com.

The Digital Tv stations/channels in the , Green , Yellow , Red , reception zones down to and including WWJX UHF channel 23 Legacy Tv , http://legacytv.wordpress.com , should be reliably received.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of reducing or blocking Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions.

It is best to locate the HD7696P antenna at a location that has little to no obstructions to antenna reception in the directions of west and south east.

The Tv Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels , sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

WRBJ UHF channel 34 , CW and Antenna Tv , is a Very Strong transmission at your location and will most likely be received even though the HD7696P antenna is not aimed at the station.

WMPN-DT UHF channel 20 PBS and WMAW-TV UHF channel 44 PBS are both the same PBS . so no requirement to receive UHF 44. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississ...c_Broadcasting

Tele,
Thanks for all your work. I guess I needed to specify the reason that I was looking at mohu is that they were indoor or attic mount. My convenience in my neighborhood gets ticky about thing that are roof mounted as well as my wife it was hard enough to get a dish for dish tv. Can you make a indoor or attic recommendation.

Sorry for not giving all the details.

Roof is all wood no metallic roof convering or barriers thin singles.

Please let me know anything else. Thanks again and sorry agin for the lack of details.

I'll work on trying to get my wife/neighborhood to go along with roof mount but it's a losing battle.

The following is a Teleview Recommendation For Broadcast Tv Reception.

So you and others Know , here is the Federal Antenna Law that says Yes you can install antennas above the roof in such a manner as to have reliable reception and Yes antennas can be in plain sight and there is no size limit for tv antennas.
http://www.fcc.gov/mb/facts/otard.html

Antenna Haters are Scary people.

Antenna Haters enjoy beating on others.

Antenna Haters enjoy beating others to submission.

I tell antenna Haters Exactly what they are.

When I meet one in person I back up and give them lots of room.

I do not turn my back on them until I am distance away , and even then I am Very Alert to what the antenna Hater is doing or saying so I can make a fast getaway.
________________

The Signal strengths are strong at your location , except for WWJX Legacy Tv.

No point in spending money needlessly , by pass the mohu leaf.

Install the HD7696P antenna in the attic.
