Antenna and Setup Help

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...d243b4f28336db

Hello all, above is my report and below explains my setup. The issue I am having is I am not picking up PBS (RF 8) and NBC (RF 12) and also CW (RF 49). Most of the other channels are coming in fine. My question is do I need to added a folded dipole or some other antenna tuned to the high VHF to get 8 and 12 or do I need to add a reflector and pre-amp to my antenna, or what better advice do you all have?

While the house was being built I ran a structured wiring setup that has RG6quad run to all the rooms and the all end up in a panel I have in a bedroom closet. The longest run is about 75 feet. I also ran a line up into the attic for the antenna. Right now I plan on having 4 TVs hooked up to the antenna.

I built a 4 bay bowtie with 9 1/2 inch whiskers and 9 inch bay spacing using the instructions found here:http://m4antenna.eastmasonvilleweather.com/index.html I haven't added a reflector yet, but intend to. Right now the antenna is in the closet, near where all my structured wiring home runs terminate. I plan on moving it to the attic once I am happy with the antenna performance and have sorted out all the bugs in my system.

I bought a Leviton 48210-VA amp when I was buying all of the other components for my structured wiring setup. In is just before the splitter, which is a Leviton 47690-6C. See the links below.

Are these Leviton products good, or should I dump these and go with a splitter this board recommends and either dump the amp or get a "better" one.

Thanks for the help.

I built the same antenna & put a 36x42 reflector on it, 5.5" back. I get hi-vhf fine with a worse signal report than yours
*however* I'm outside, not in the attic.
I think that's your big stopper there. Attics are a crap-shoot with signals. Much more so for hi-vhf

Thank you for the info on the reflector. I guess I should finish my antenna and see what I get after that.

Do you all think I will have an issue with the splitter I am using from Leviton?
