Trying to find out what antenna you guys would recommend. I was thinking a uhf/vhf antenna would be best. I want to make sure that I can get CBS and ABC.

Also, I was thinking of getting two and pointing one towards 292 and one somewhere between 102 and 129 for the other side.

Antennas would be installed on the second floor attic and run to one tv and maybe another one down the road.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

ALL questions and answers about broadcast tv reception and More.

The following is a Teleview recommendation for broadcast Tv reception.

Please make a tvfool radar report using the Exact address.

If the exact address does not work then go to the tvfool home page and click on , >>Start MAPS<< , move the pointer to the exact location and make tvfool radar report.

The following is a Teleview recommendation for broadcast Tv reception.

To make the following recommendation work , The antenna must be installed above the roof.

The Tv Digital Tv transmissions are Strong at your location in the Green and Yellow reception zones.

Except for ,

WNCR -LD REAL UHF channel 41 , http://americaone.com.

WHIG-LD REAL UHF channel 31 , http://www.whigtv.com.

WUVC-DT REAL UHF channel 38 Univision.

The antenna is aimed more in favor of , WNCR and WHIG , to make the reception stronger.

I Think that 1 Tv antenna will provide reliable reception of the many digital Tv stations/channels of multipul directions of , west , north west , north , north east , south east.

Install a ANT751 antenna Above The Roof aimed at about 346 degree magnetic compass.

The ANT751 receives good at , front , front angles , back , back angles.

Solidsignal has a ANT751 antenna with a J type antenna mount , low dollars.

Here is how to aim antenna , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

For one Tv connection use no splitter , no amplifier.

For 2 Tv's connected use a common simple 2 way splitter , no amplifier.

Here are some places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.amazon.com.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of reducing or blocking Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own house.

It is best to install the antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind.

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels , sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.
