Trees are pretty thick all around, I think I can find a hole to the south, there are Pine Tree's 30 yards way

I figured I would sink a post-16' in ground and probably have to mount the antenna on a piece of pipe/conduit to get elevation needed, although this would make adjustments difficult, the roof of trailer could be another option with tripod

Install a Winegard HD7696P antenna with a Antennas Direct CPA-19 preamp aimed at about 185 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html. I recommend test reception with a 5 foot tripod mount. Just set the mount on the roof of the mobile home , the mount does not cost much and makes a good stand for testing. If the peak of the roof is , say , 15 feet above ground and the mount is 5 feet and the mast pipe gets the antenna another 5 feet above the top of the tripod then thats 25 feet above ground. http://www.ronard.com/909911.html. http://www.ronard.com. Here are some places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.winegarddirect.com , http://www.antennasdirect.com , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.ramelectronics.net , http://www.tigerdirect.com. I expect that all the networks will be received and many more channels.

Tv antennas and Tv reception

My affiliation is. I call my self a helper for the question askers. I do not own the tvfool site , I am not employed by tvfool , I am doing antennas and etc. for many years. My mission is to help others receive broadcast television. I provide the information that people require to receive broadcast television , I know that most people are filled with all manner of misinformation and ideas about tv reception and require real and honest help with practical and useful information. I fully expect the moderator to delete part or all of what I have printed here , telling you this , he has deleted information in the past , he says I am tooting my own horn , I am not. People require help and it is important to get as close to the truth as possible.

I am also interested in FTA satellite tv and internet streaming tv. At one time in the past , using two of my other avatars , teleview and John Candle , I had A Lot of Practical and Useful information here at tvfool about broadcast tv reception and about FTA satellite tv and internet streaming. I deleted it because I was angry because of the constant harassment I was getting from some of the other helpers here at tvfool. Here is a web site to start learning about FTA http://www.ftalist.com. I fully expect the moderator to send me a PM telling me where my place is at. He has in the past. Perhaps one day I wont be here to help any one.

For mounting the tripod mount to the roof of the mobile home. ( mobile home roofs are not the strongest roofs ) , if the roof is like a regular peaked roof on a house and has flat sloping sides , and you can get to underside of the roof and install 3/4 inch or even 1 inch plywood , of 2 or 3 or 4 square foot pieces where the feet of the tripod would be , that will provide a good strong solid mounting area on top of the roof for the tripod mount on the roof of the mobile home. The thick plywood is so the screws of the mounting feet will have something substantial to screw into and hold the tripod in place. The installation will be leak proof , Home Depot sells a wall and board glue that is so strong that when the glue is applied to 2 boards , and the glue sets up , the bond is so strong that the wood of the boards will rip apart before the glue comes apart. Put the glue all over the plywood pieces and then push up into place on the underside of the roof. And as for the metal feet of the antenna mount , the mount comes with what is called pitch pads that go under the feet. Basically tar and fibers mix pads , seals real good for a long time. The mount also comes with the screws. Here is a helpful hint , feed the RG-6 coax up through the bottom of the mast pipe and out the top and then connect to the preamp.
