antenna recommendation

I using winegard ss-2000 now, but I could not receive channel 9.1 pbs and I did try another kind of antenna some able to get channel 9.1 but not clear. Please recommend good antenna to get good signal on channel 9.1, I'm only interesting to pick up channel9.1 just for my kids. my house is rambler on the hill and have a lot of tree all around my house.

One of my favorites VHF UHF simple Antenna is below. You will get much better reception. There are bigger antennas but this one works well for our installation.

For the Las Vegas market, that's a completely reasonable antenna. For Phoenix, not so much since there are no low-VHF full power majors in PHX.

Since the poster only asked for channel 9 (KCTS), a medium-range high-VHF antenna installed outside and aimed towards Seattle should answer his request for PBS.

What the other helpers are not telling you is , that no matter what antenna is used , more then just channel 9 will be received. That being the truth of the situation , I recommend a Winegard HD7694P antenna aimed at 341 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html

The Antennacraft Y-5713 or Antennas Direct CS-5 would specifically match your request. As already mentioned, these antennas will receive other channels also.

Thank you everyone for input me, I might give it a try on antennacraft y-5713 first and see how good I can get, since I just care about channel9.1 for now.
also, I'm just curious, if I want to pick up every channel as many as I can get and best signal also, which antenna should be suit for me? Thanks for advance.

As I have said , A antenna to receive channel 9 will all so receive some of the other channels. There is no such thing as a antenna that will only receive channel 9. This being the truth of the situation. Install a antenna that will receive all the channels , I suggest a Winegard HD7694P antenna.

The SS-2000 seems to be vertically polarized on VHF. Try turning the antenna 45 degrees CW or CCW while maintaining the aim north.
