Hi everyone.
It took a looooong time to get my account activated here. But happy to be here now. We decided to cut the cord last spring. We started out with a small GE antenna in the attic and booster, both from Walmart. Also had an RCA recorder from the same place that worked ok but the remote was less than user friendly. Now have a larger antenna. Its an RCA that was around $95 from Lowes in the attic with the same booster. Also ungraded to the Channel Master DVR. Very happy with this setup so far.

Welcome to the forum, custom1:

Glad to hear that your system is working well.

That is a common problem with the inexpensive boxes. I use a Sony RMVLZ620 Universal (learning) Remote with my Channel Master 7003 that works much better than the original remote.
