Antenna Advice for St. George, Utah

I cut the cord a month ago and have been watching channels 2 (CBS) and 9 (PBS) which are very clear with my rabbit ears but nothing much else comes in. I am willing to go to a roof antenna, and a local installer wanted to put the TERK - Omnidirectional Flat-Panel HDTV Outdoor Antenna - Silver on my roof, but it seems as if most people do not recommend the omnidirectional. Here is my TV Fool report: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...5b94944b52fe48. My main concern is that I am close to the towers but live in a bit of a dip with houses and hills in the way to the south and southeast. It's a one-story house, so maybe 15 ft. if placed on roof at highest point. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure that your location is accurate for that plot? Use the online/interactive tool to precisely located your home's location and verify, posting a new plot if needed.

According to the provided plot, both the St George and the Santa Clara translators are LOS (no resolvable terrain blockages) and should be easily received with a decent small, properly located, non-amplified loop and rabbit ears.
