Antenna Advice

I would appreciate some help with antenna selection.

I am in center Alabama and plan to put the antenna on the roof approx. 20 foot off the ground. I plan on just two tvs and would like to configure for the best direction for the most/clearest channel although I do like the FOX station. If I could get FM radio stations that would be a bonus.

here is my radar report

Thanks in advance
Charles

The tvfool radar report and channel list is not working. Please try again.

Use your correct address to make the report.

Make the antenna height in the tvfool radar report 25 feet above ground.

The 25 feet above ground is a reference antenna height that provides a good idea of what is available to receive.

Above the Peak of the Roof in such a manner the roof and house are not impeding and blocking reception to the , East North and East.

Install a Antenna Craft , HD850 antenna aimed at about 82 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

_________________________________________________

There is a Digital Broadcast Tv station to the , South , at 176 degree magnetic compass direction.

That has 5 Digital Tv channels , RTV , PBJ , My Family , Tuff Tv , Frost Great Outdoors.

To receive WRTD-LD Real UHF channel 46 , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luken_Communications , will require a second antenna.

Install a Channel Master CM4228HD Antenna aimed at about 176 degree magnetic compass direction.

_____________________________________

Use a Winegard CC7870 transformer coupled (hybrid) antenna combiner to connect the , HD850 and CM4228HD together on to one coax down lead.

Make the coax from each antenna the same length between the antenna and the combiner.

Separate the HD850 and CM4228HD by about 2 feet or so on the same mast pipe.

The CM4228HD on top and HD850 on bottom.

____________

Connect a Winegard HDP-269 preamp to the output of the CC7870 combiner.

____________

For 1 Tv connected use No splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a , HFS-2D , 2 way splitter.
