I am trying to figure out what mast mounted preamplifier was sold that had seperate vhf and uhf 75 ohm inputs. I was thinking that would eliminate the need for a combiner or diplexer to the amp. What I am not sure of is the insertion loss of the preamp itself.

CM7777 original had separate inputs, but that old style is hard to find anymore.

There is a TVPRAMP1R amplifier by RCA that's around $23.00, and has separate inputs. I've not yet tried one, but I've read good reports about it all over the place.
