Preamp and splitter for 2 TV 100' run

Current setup (works great): Antenna with 50' direct run to TV gets great reception. Beautiful picture. Occasional pixelation and signal drop on some channels, but not enough on its own for me to want to get a preamp.

Proposed setup: Split signal from end of 50' run with another 50' run to 2nd TV. Hook preamp next to antenna. Power from inserter at 1st TV.

Will the power transfer thru the splitter, and will that setup boost the signal enough to carry another 50'?

I'm using this preamp.

Only if you buy one with DC pass through. Any of the ones in retail stores rated for satellite service will have this feature. I'd suggest the Ideal branded splitter available in Home depot stores, but you could probably use anything from Walmart, Radio Shack, Lowes, Menards, etc and it will do the job.

Your selected preamp has more than enough gain for your requirements.
