A Simple Reception Situation.

Attics and the Inside of Buildings Are Not a reception friendly location and Never Will Be a reception friendly location.

Yes you can install a ,

http://www.antennacraft.net.

HD850 antenna in the attic aimed at about 235 degree magnetic compass direction.

A antenna system amplifier is not required.

---------

If reception situations happen in the attic that are not resolvable with antenna aim adjustments and antenna location adjustments in the attic , then move the antenna to above the peak of the roof.

If size is an issue, and/or if you don't care about real 2 and 4 (infomercials and off the air, per rabbitears.com), an HBU33 has the same gain on UHF and slightly more gain on high-VHF. Just another option. The HBU33 is 43-1/2" wide and the HD850 is 111" wide, and both are 85" boom length.

Interesting....a quite a bit smaller in width, lighter and cheaper.

Thanks for the alternative. I will check that one out too.

Stick with the narrower antenna. There's nothing on the air in Dallas that requires the wider one.

As I understand it. It is not my place to tell Dallasgirl what is of interest for Dallasgirl to receive or not receive.

I see that others here at Tvfool , see it as their place to tell Dallasgirl what Dallsgirl can and can not receive.

--------

Dallasgirl , might like to receive.

KHFW-LD low band Tv channel 4 , infomercials.

KSFW-LD low band Tv channel 2 , Religion programing.

The HD850 antenna is designed for reception of--> All Tv Channels.

-----------

Both of these Tv stations are for sale.

As is-->true<->of other Tv stations here in the USA and around the world are for sale.

The New Owners will most likely change the Network programing to some other Network/s , as often happens when Tv stations are sold.

The Network/s on the Tv/s stations may or may not be of interest now and the Networks may or may not change to something of more interest.
