new antenna need help

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...0b86c3990ab330 i had a channel master ultra hi crossfire cm 3671 antenna installed on a 50 ft tower , with a pa 18 amplifier made by antenna direct, when first installed i got 24 channels next day down to 11 , hard to get buffalo channels after first day. I get all Canadian channels ok. the day the antenna was put up it was very warm temp. would that make a difference? Also some nights buffalo channels come in , but pickulating a bit. hope i spelled that word ok . i also have a rotor for antenna . do you think raising it a nother 10 ft would make it work better , or? thanks for any help

Doubt it. Note that almost all the Buffalo stations are over 100 miles away and tropo paths. Your reception will be affected by temperature just like you have experienced.
