In York

Dave,
I'm located in York and am pretty much in exactly the same situation that you are. Since last summer I've been using an amplified flat panel indoor antenna, Antennacraft, 1500080, that I bought at radio shack.

The flat panel antenna set in an east facing window picks up 8, 10, 29 and associated virtual channels. What I'm missing is the VHF-lo.....I don't think that this antenna covers VHF-lo. That leaves me with ABC & CBS, but without NBC or FOX.

I have a C490 on the way from Solid Signal that covers all channels. My plan is to try it in the attic and see how that performs. My attic situation is pretty ideal, large attic with a high ridge and dormer windows on the east side.

I'll post back in about a week and let you know how it works out.

Thanks , York V45.

My request is please provide reports of reliability the VHF low band reception.

Signal strength readings.

And if the Tv has a Signal Quality Meter that will be real nice.

On going reports will be great.
