Antenna Choice Help Columbia, MO

The channels I care about are 6,8,13,17,22
I swung by target and picked this up http://www.target.com/GE-Flat-Panel-...n&frombrowse=0.
6, 8 are pretty rock solid.
17 is good.
22 is fine sometimes you have to play with the antenna a little bit but all in all it works.
13 on the other hand is terrible. It can't even find the signal most of the time. I once got it to detect it and it actually came in and was clear but then i moved the antenna and i wasn't ever able to get it to come in clearly again.
I currently have a dishtv dish that is mounted on the south side of my house. I'd perfer to buy an antenna that will fit on the dish mount.
So what antenna should I get to get a solid signal on my target channels without breaking the bank?

For all of the virtual channels you have listed, signal levels are no problem at all. The challenge will be to find a single aim point that offers reliable reception of all five stations.
A fairly compact, reasonably priced antenna like the RCA ANT-751 mounts quite easily and has a broad beam which will give you a good chance of seeing all stations from one aim point. As a starting point, try aiming south. Pan in either direction if you are not able to see all of the signals reliably.
As a last resort, you may need to consider using a rotator. I would try without first.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)

I suggest install a Channel Master CM 3010 antenna -->Without<-- the optional CM 3038 amplifier. Point the antenna at about 180 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to point Tv antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html . . The Tv antenna needs to be level with the ground , not pointed up at the sky , not pointed down at the ground , not cocked at odd angles. Outdoor type Tv antennas receive the best when the antenna is not obstructed and can see the Tv transmitters with nothing in the way. . There is absolutely no point in using an all-channel antenna in this location. No amplifier will be needed, you have plenty of signal. In fact, an amplifier will likely overload since you're less than 3 miles from KOMU's tower. You also don't need a rotor.
You need an simple high-VHF antenna (a dipole would probably work) pointed towards Jeff City for channels 8 (on Hwy 63 about 5 miles south of Stadium) and 13 (Holt's Summit/New Bloomfield) and a simple UHF antenna (small Yagi/2-bay/loop) pointed towards Truman Lake for everything else. Combine them with a simple UHF/VHF antenna combiner. That will get you all your local channels that you asked for. I would also recommend that you also add an FM filter (possibly two) to your down-lead as you have several 100kW FM stations nearby.
A dish mount on the south side of your home sounds promising.

First mistake, you can't use an amplified antenna.
Second, your stations vary in aiming.
If you want to try another indoor antenna the Terk HDTVi is the best option.
To consider an outdoor antenna note that you'll need at least two antennas. If you get a Y5-7-13 aimed at 118° and a DB-2 aimed at 237° coupled together with a UVSJ you'd get all the top network affiliates. KNLJ may or may not work.
