Help with Antenna

I'm looking to install and antenna to receive NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox and PBS for use with an HTPC. What antenna would be the best for me and my budget?

Here is my report:

I tried an antenna like this inside and in the back of my house (Looking at my report it was pointing in the wrong direction) with little success. I believe I was able to tune in ABC and NBC using it.

The Tvfool report is not showing any antenna height above ground.

Do not delete the tvfool report that is not showing any antenna height above ground.

To see Tv signal strength improvements at higher antenna height , please make and post a tvfool report with the antenna height at 25 feet above ground.

25 feet antenna height above ground is a Reference antenna height above ground that gives a good idea of the Tv stations/channels that can be reliably received.

Since you have that antenna, and although I'm not a fan of those flat designs, I'd try to see if it works given a better chance at reception. Did you mount it outdoors? And up high as possible? Or did you return it? I assume it's marked for a front and back even though it claims 360 degree coverage. Now you know the direction, you can try to aim it direct at the tower and set your TV to rescan channels. You may have to hunt for the sweet spot due west. Fox may be an issue as it's NE from your position. Since you are using an HTPC, you may have multiple tuners to make use of a 2nd antenna pointed at Fox. I use a pair of HD Homeruns in this manner and I let the software aggregate the channels as needed.

Based on the path profile of WPFO contained in your first TV Fool report, it's quite likely that added antenna mounting height would yield significant improvement in signal quality.

elmo's suggestion of using two SiliconDust HDHR tuners, each fed by separate fixed aim antennas would be my approach also.

I'd like to see a reception report based on 25' AGL before suggesting antennas.
If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)

Absorbing and Blocking Reception.

Multi-Path Reflecting Tv Signals Bouncing All Around.
