help me get CBS

my TV Fool signal analysis report is at:
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...46aef055e8064a

I own a "Budget TV Antenna", Model T#749, Catalog # 15-1874 from RadioShack as seen at:
http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2103077

That is plugged directly into my HDTV. I have tried placing the antenna in various places around the apartment, including next to the window, but because my apartment is at ground level, I have trouble with signals. Depending on my luck, the TV auto tuning scanner picks up around 5 or 6 channels.

My only goal is to get CBS in perfect quality, even when the weather is poor. I don't care about any other channels, just CBS. Right now I can only get CBS at all on a lucky day with clear skies.

Please recommend solutions or a new antenna. Thanks!

What directions do , windows , patios , face??

-------

The tvfool radar report and channel list shows that the , Digital Broadcast Tv Stations/Channels , Current Plus Pending Applications Included.

Shows that the first 7 Tv stations are in the Green signal strength reception zone and Strong Signal Strength.

The Tv stations are close distance , 0.5 to 7.0 to 10.8 miles away.

The antenna height in the report is , 1 foot above ground.

The first Tv station is , LOS= Line Of Sight.

However the next 6 Tv stations are showing , 2 Edge Path Obstructions.

------

The inside of buildings and attics Are Not a reception friendly environment and Never Will Be a reception friendly environment.

Some reasons And Not The Only reasons are ,

Multi-Path Reflections Tv Signals Bouncing All Around , and VHF high band channels 7 thru 13 are have bad signal bounce issues.

WJZ-TV REAL VHF high band channel 13 - CBS , is a VHF high band channel.

---
Also the electronic and electric noise is higher inside buildings and attics.

And then the issues of the inside of buildings and attics absorbing and blocking Tv signal reception.

------------

The Non amplified antenna , VHF channels 2 thru 13 reception rods and UHF channels 14 thru 51 reception loop.

Is a good choice for Tv channels reception.

Place the antenna in/at a , window or patio door window that faces , East South , East , East North , North East.

Aim the antenna at about 75 degree magnetic compass direction.

The more the antenna can be aimed at about 75 degree magnetic compass direction with less and less and less obstructions the better the reception will be.

Here is how to aim indoor type antennas and outdoor type antennas.

http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Use a Real and Actual magnetic compass to aim antenna.

-----
If you can put the antenna outside on a patio that has directions to the , East South , East , East North , North East , put the antenna out on the patio.

Some antennas that will most likely improve reception are.

Antenna Craft , HBU11 antenna.

ANT751/R antenna.

And the same recommendations for reception also apply to the , ANT751 and HBU11 antennas.

Here are some places to buy antennas and etc. .

--------

Digital Broadcast Tv Tuners can develop - Digital Glitches - that are not cleared out with simple channel scans.

To clear the tuner do a Double Rescan.
