So possibly indoors the signals are getting reflected a little bit and it works in your favor? To compare antennas, you really have to mount them in the same spot. What seems to be best, outside, may not always be the case, but usually it is.

Ch 2 is broadcast from a 1000 kw transmitter, which is strong. That's obviously helping you pull it so well from 60+ miles.

I'm not sure what to recommend for you. That C2-V you mention covers VHF & UHF. If you can buy it locally and return if it doesn't work better, then it'd be worth a shot. A longer range antenna tends to be more directional, and with that reflector on the back, I'd think that if you tune in Ch 2, you'd struggle for Ch 3 since it comes from the near opposite direction. But so many things play into it. Line of sight, building materials, walls, trees, cable, etc.
