Just a little higher and I'll bet you will see a significant improvement in signal conditions. I expect the MSP area signals to be easy and Mankato within reach as well.

Can you post a couple more TV Fool reports one for 30' and another for 50'?

How many sets are going to be connected?

Take a look at this thread and tell us how you feel about a rotator, A/B switches and the other options: http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=2882 (You get to be the final arbiter of what "much work" is.)

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
