My wife and I are longtime DishNetwork customers and are huge sports fans so it will be hard to "cut the cable" for us. However, here in Eastern NC, it seems like there is a constant battle between the local network channels and DishNetwork with the results being that we are constantly having them shut off for periods of time. With that in mind, and knowing that the OTA quality will probably be better anyway, I want to try my hand at an antenna.
After doing some research I came across this site and learned a lot so I'm ready to get some advice as to what I would need for an antenna. To start with it'll probably be attic mounted, however I do intend to mount it outdoors once the weather gets a little better and I get the equipment I need to do it with. We're just looking to get the major networks right now, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox.
