The next steps to try would be:
  1. Connect only the SE facing antenna. Then check to see if WNLO (real CH-32) is received.
  2. Connect only the NW facing antenna. Then check the reception of CITY (real CH-57).
If one or both problem channels are improved, you may need to reconsider the use of a reversed splitter. As I mentioned earlier, " In most situations, the result is less than hoped for." A/B switching is technically sound, and likely the least expensive option to consider next.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
