Your street address does not need to be made public, the link to your TV Fool report gives us the information we need to help you choose an antenna.

If not for the large dense Douglas Firs, reception of the major networks would be easy using a simple (inexpensive) rabbit-ears style antenna. Because of the fir trees, I'd opt for an outdoor (roof or chimney mounted) Winegard HD7694P aimed west (about 245° compass).

There is also the opportunity to receive several signals from the NW and SW if you are willing to consider using a rotator or additional antenna(s). ION network, TuffTV network MeTV network and others are available in those directions.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
