For low VHF3 you will likely want a separate VHF antenna. Keep this in mind though. The low VHF channels will be gone in a little over a year. CKVR will be moving to RF10. I purchased a cm4228hd and it handles high vhf (7-13) quite well. That is a common antenna choice in our area and will work very well for you pulling in UHF from Buffalo and Toronto. I pull in Buffalo from Newmarket with it.

A low VHF antenna for RF3 is needed but its only gonna help you for a year so is it worth it? Up to you really. Whatever happens let us know what your results are. I love hearing good local OTA stories Also much of the programming on CKVR is also on the American networks out of Buffalo.
