The Wausau, WI Fox affilliate WFXS was purchased by Gray Television on July 1st, 2015, and started broadcasting the low-power WZAW to skirt around FCC monopoly regulations. They are broadcasting off a tower northeast of Wausau and plan to add low power transmitters around the market before the Packer season starts.
