As the foliage finishes filling in for the season, this is not a surprise. The tress absorb more RF when they have leafs on. Signals coming over the ridge now have more foliage to pass through. The cure is going to be found in increased mounting height and/or antenna gain/directivity.

On a separate note; If the HD7694P is too big, the HD7082P is going to be even less appropriate. The signal on real CH-5 is a duplicate of the KRCW CH-33 signal and per Wikipedia, KOXO CH-6 is "Licensed and Silent" since having switched to digital operation on real CH-44. As a result, I see no point in considering an all channel antenna in this particular situation.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
