I agree with
jrgagne99; go for safety and convenience. The coax loss (attenuation factor) for RG6 coax is much less for VHF than UHF. It's only 1.4 dB per 100 ft for channel 2, 2.8 dB for VHF-High, and 5 dB for UHF.
