As I understand it, the TV will require an ATSC Tuner (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATSC_tuner in order to pick up over the air digital and analog signals. When you find a TV you like, check the details tab on the Future Shop (or BB) site and scroll down to the TV Tuner section. You'll find something similar to TV Tuner ATSC; NTSC; QAM. NTSC is the North American 60Hz signal standard, ATSC allows for digital OTA reception, and QAM allows for the reception of
unencrypted digital cable signals without a cable box.
