My guess is that you have a problem with multi path. If that 4 bay won't get Ch. 48 I don't know if an 8 bay will work either. Try the 91XG. That antenna excels at obtaining channels at the high end of the UHF band and its design will help cut through the multipath and give you a viewable signal. If you can't wait to get that then see if you can locate a Antennacraft MXU 59 at a local Radio Shack. I owned both and they worked equally as well on every signal on the UHF band here from Ch. 15 to 51.
