Red face Mediocre reception so far.

Here's the initial test. This is the RTL SDR Spectrum analyzer, with the new array pointing at Milwaukee and RF 8.




Here is a scan comparing my one operational 30 - 2470 versus the two paired up and extended Blue is the pair and green a single. Quite disappointing:






The funny thing is some UHF channels come in perfectly. Even from the opposite direction;



Surprisingly, I pick up a few Chicago UHF stations quite strong with the antenna pointed in the exact opposite direction. Keeping in mind this is a VHF antenna(s)

So, why is the signal just mediocre?

It's possible the sagging in the antennas is causing the directors to be out of alignment with the dipole?
