Antenna Stacking / Ganging

Occasionally someone needs more antenna gain, directivity or increase in front to back ratio. It may be that they are in a deep fringe area, or they may be fighting co-channel or other interference. If they are close to getting a usable signal with one antenna, stacking or ganging antennas may give the needed pattern or gain improvement. Here are several links on the subject:

Done right and with a bit of luck, stacking identical antennas can help in marginal situations.
