Given the nearby trees and buildings, I would opt for a roof mounted antenna. If you want to try for reception of WOCK, real channel 4, a Winegard HD7015 or HD7080 would be appropriate.

At a minimum I would use an RCA ANT-751, the Winegard HD7694P would be a premium solution, though not overkill IMO. (These antennas lack support for real channels 2 - 6)

All of these antennas will be better at dealing with multipath than the antennas you've mentioned.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
