All of the recommended antennas are directional. When aimed towards the South for your core channels, neither of the recommended systems are a sure bet for the ION station. If ION is a must have you should consider adding a second small antenna, such as the Antennas Direct DB-2 pointed towards the Ion station. This would involve using another coax and an A/B switch. These directional antennas are designed to receive from the front end. Any reception from a direction more than 20-30 degrees from the main lobe (depending on the antenna) is residual and should be relied on.
