The "Leaf 50" is a standard Leaf with an amplifier. The standard Leaf has no VHF elements. I took one apart when they first came out...
Since we're on the subject, Mohu changed the "Jolt" amplifier earlier this year. I lab-tested one of their originals (black metal case) last summer and found it to be a very capable amp. Their new one (white cylindrical plastic) is less than half the price and is very, very different. So far, I can't see any good reason for a customer to own one if they can still get the old one.
