Do you know if the 50 is VHF capable? Hidden elements often hide that and you have to figure it out the hard way when the mfgr website doesn't call it out. Does NBC come in well? ABC is weak and being VHF, that could be the issue if the antenna isn't tuned for VHF-Hi.

I'm perfectly willing to go outside with the antenna. I just hadn't gone there yet. If I can find the right setup I would have no problem mounting the outside of the house.
