Hi ADTech, thanks for the reply. Just to be clear, it's the DB4 that gave me the odd behaviour with the zip tied wire.

When you say its a difficult time of the year for reception, do that mean as we head into autumn and winter, I can expect an easier time ? Is there anything else I could do to optimize my installation ?
