Try a $7, non-amplified indoor unit from a big box store (easy returns) like Home Depot, Lowes, or Walmart (RCA 111) or the $15 unit from Radio Shack. Cheap and cheerful.

A better, more directional antenna would be the Terk LOGTVI, which has log-periodic UHF elements that should have more gain and better attenuation of multipath signals (but still 'rabbit ears' VHF dipole).

They should give you some channels, but you'll almost certainly get more channels, and a stronger and/or more reliable signal across the board if you mount an outdoor antenna per the recommendations above. But I've used that RS antenna with great success, as my signals are close and strong with little between them and it. But I get more channels with a DB4e in the attic with a spare portable TV dipole for high-VHF, and I'm sure I could do better still if/when I move them to an outdoor roof mount, as I have a few channels that register but usually can't quite make it.
