Thanks for the update... Yes, the CS5 has some UHF capability. If I understand correctly, the design goal was a modestly directional H-VHF solution... It was later discovered that the antenna has incidental UHF capability that happens to be approximately omnidirectional.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
