The C4 should be fine in your application. Make certain the front of the loops is facing perpendicular to your north west.
Take the time to go through the channels received to verify you're getting all your locals from the main site southwest of SLC. Do be prepared to move the antenna to other spots within the garage's attic should you find you're got a colt spot for one or more of the stations.
