The actual performance of the antenna is documented. There are better antennas available for far less money. http://www.antennacraft.net/pdfs/HDMS9100.pdf

If you can do without WGVK (weak PBS) Any of the Winegard HD769X series antennas and a CM-9521 rotator would be far superior. As an alternate the Antennacraft HBU-22 and lager would also be much more capable antennas. Even the RCA ANT-751 would outperform.

I am not discounting JC's experience with the 9100. I'm just looking at the engineering numbers.
