The ANT-751 is not a bad choice based on what your goals are.

I think you can do better without spending a lot though.

I'd suggest an Antennacraft Y5713, aimed at WTNH (197° compass). This would provide an ABC affiliate. Combine the signal with a 4-bay panel antenna such as the Antennas Direct DB-4, Antennacraft U4000, Channel Master CM-4221 or Winegard HD4400 aimed at about 105° compass.

Combining the two antennas is done with a UVSJ.

The combination I propose will offer a lineup of ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS and CW affiliates. You might get an ION affiliate but only with the 4-bay outside of the attic I think.

You can try this in your attic but you may need to move one or both antennas out into the clear if your attic construction causes reception trouble.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
