Thx so much for helping a non-technophile weave through the mountain of graphs, gain, signal drain and more. Everything, I've read to date tell me to stay away from indoor and go outdoor all the way. I just want to do this once and correctly. I don't mind installing outdoor, but not if I don't have to. the station that worries me is the vhf wmc-tv5 channel.
Our home is brick and stone, single story, asphalt shingles, blown cellulose insulation in a wooded area inside the city limits of Memphis. 2 tvs we wish to receive signals for are at opposite ends of the house, but are at each end and near outside walls. no foil backed insulation, but we do have aluminum frame windows (for a little while longer anyhow). Sets are not close to windows.
Since you have been so helpful, is there a referral site I can buy an antenna from where you get credit? Without testing your integrity? I don't mind getting my "best option" as most antenna pale in cost comparison to jacked up cable rates. Any brand, class, or specific info that could be shared with me?
