You happen to be behind some of those mountain in Scottsdale that are blocking your signal path over Phoenix. Ironically, the simulator calculates the signals from Tuscon to be stronger, even at 107 miles away! Your actual ability to receive them, would of course, vary.

The signals from Phoenix are likely to be relatively strong but the will tend to be scattered. Do not assume that the most convenient mounting location will work out. Be patient, use only temporary mounting methods (don't drill any holes!) until you work out a spot that proves to be a good one.
