OK, I answered your other thread and am back on this one. I think I figured out where your mom is in Wideman. The satellite photo shows trees, but there are no leaves because of when the photo was taken. Trees block UHF signals:

Her location is on the extreme fringe of KYTV coverage:



a closeup shows that her location is in a dead zone for the KYTV signal. Purple is very weak; no color is even weaker.



The terrain profile shows the interference from the curvature of the earth and the rough terrain.
