My quest began by considering a DIY project for a 4 bay antenna using copper wire and PVC. Also looked into the Gray Hoverman DIY antenna. I live where cable will never be and would like to avoid expense of Directv.
If the above 2 DIY projects don't make sense, then what antenna(s) would make my wife happy? Would I also need an amplifier? Recommend one? I intend to mount on top of 2 story home on mast/rotor. Thanks in advance
